Public Service Commission,West Bengal (WBPSC) has latest opening for the posts of Medical Officers and Assistant Professors for its various branches/divisions . Interested candidates have to apply via prescribed application format before 04th June, 2013 . More detailed information of WBPSC Recruitment 2013 is mention below .

WBPSC complete vacancy details :
Number of vacancies : 273
1. Assistant Professor : 38 vacancies
2. Medical Officer : 235 vacancies

Eligibility Criteria :

1. For Assistant Professor post :

Age Limit : Not above than 35 yrs as on 01-01-2013.

Educational Qualification : B.E./B.Tech. and M.C.A. with 1st class or equivalent in either B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A

Pay Scale : Rs.15, 600/- –Rs.39, 100/- plus Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6, 000/-.

2. For Medical Officer :

Age Limit : Not more than 32 years for ordinary Medical Graduates and 40 years for those possessing Post-graduate Medical qualifications on 1.1.2013

Educational Qualification : Any of the Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part – II and registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal.

Pay Scale : Rs. 15, 600/- - 42, 000/- (P.B. - 4A) plus Grade Pay Rs. 5, 400/- plus E.S.I. allowance, non-practicing allowance and certain admissible allowances.

Application Fee :
1. Candidates need to pay Rs. 210 only by Indian Postal Order.
2. SC/ST candidates belonging to west bengal and persons with
disabilities are not required to pay any fees.

Selection Process : Selection will be done on the basis of written test and Screening test.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply via Offline mode, i.e candidates are required to send dully filled application form along with relevant enclosures to the address mention in the notification.

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), a wholly-owned profit-making Government of West Bengal Enterprise invites Applications from Indian Nationals to fill up the 404 vacant positions of Asst Engineer, Asst Manager and Sub Asst Engineer Post. 1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 167 posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 25 posts
3. Assistant Engineer (IT & C) : 40 posts
4. Assistant Manager (HR & A) : 20 posts
5. Assistant Manager (F & A) : 18 posts
6. Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 125 posts
7. Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 09 posts

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit : Candidates age should be minimum 18 yrs and maximum 27 yrs as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation of 3 yrs is provided for OBC (A & B) candidates and Age Relaxation
of 5 yrs is provided to SC & ST candidates.

Educational Qualification :
1. Assistant Engineer : Full time 4 years’ B.E / B.Tech /B.Sc(Engineering) Degree.
2. Assistant Manager : Graduate in any discipline and MBA (2 years’ full time course) / MPM (2 years’full time course) / MHRM (2 years’ full time course) with major specialization in Personnel Management.
3. Sub Assistant Engineer : Full time 3 years’ Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute /College duly recognized by W.B. State Council of Tech. Education.

Examination Fee :
1. For post no. 1 to 5 : Candidates need to pay Rs. 400/-.
2. For Post no. 6 & 7 : Candidates need to pay Rs. 300 deposited in any branch of United Bank of India.

Selection Process : Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the written test and interview.

How to Apply : Candidates would be required to apply online on the www.wbsedcl.in before 03rd May, 2013. After submission of Online application form, Candidates are required to download the Application form, take print out and along with documents , challan send it to address mention in notification.
