Job profile: As a junior engineer the candidates will be required to run and maintain various systems and facilities on the port. They will also be responsible of presenting reports to their seniors.
Eligibility: Only the Indian candidates can apply. The age of a candidate must be below 28 years though relaxation can be claimed as per rules.
Educational qualifications: A candidate must have a degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or a diploma in any of the three streams from a recognized university with an experience of 3 years.
No. of vacancies: There are 9 vacancies in total which are distributed among the various categories.
Pay scale: The candidates will be given a pay band of Rs5500-200-6100-220-11380.
Selection procedure: The candidates will be intimated to appear in a written test/interview according to the no. of applications received.
The candidates may be short listed on the basis of their qualifications when called for an interview.
How to apply: The candidates have to send a hand written application containing the information about the following particulars - post applied for, name of candidate, address, nationality, religion, whether belongs to SC/ST/OBC, date of birth, educational qualification and experience, two recent passport size photographs and one duly affixed thereon and accompanied by attested copies of all certificates supporting the above mentioned particulars. The candidates must send a DD of Rs20 drawn in the favor of “KANDLA PORT TRUST, GANDHIDHAM, and KUTCH”. The applications must reach the SECRETARY, KANDLA PORT TRUST, POST BOX NO.50, GANDHIDHAM, KUTCH, PIN 370 201, GUJARAT.
