Paper Pattern
The exam is of two hours and the maximum marks are 300. The questions are all multiple choice types. All the questions are of equal marks. The number of questions in the paper is 120. The questions are given four alternative answers out of which only one is correct. The students are to mark only one answer in the answer sheet. There is a provision of negative marking also. For each wrong answer 33% of the marks allotted to the question will be deducted. Multiple answers are also treated as wrong answers. No marks are deducted for answers not attempted.

UPSC Civil Services Zoology Preliminary Examination Papers
The Union Public Service Commission conducts the civil services examination every year. The exam is one of the toughest exams in our country. Every year lacs of students compete I the exam for the prestigious government services like IAS, IFS and IPS etc. the exam is held in two stages. First there is a preliminary exam. Those who succeed in the prelims are eligible to sit for the mains. There are many subjects in which the students can take the test. Zoology is one of the subjects.
